FOR TEACHERS, TRAINERS, AND STAFF INVOLVED IN SCHOOL AND ADULT EDUCATION

The 5-day course will introduce entrepreneurship (including green and social entrepreneurship), will provide methodologies for instilling an entrepreneurial spirit in education, and enable learners to “tap into their potential” by building skills of innovation and creativity, business and soft skills.
Participants will also learn how to mentor entrepreneurs and assess entrepreneurial competencies. In addition, they will attend the European Conference on Social Entrepreneurship that takes place in Nicosia, Cyprus, where they will be introduced to the emerging field of social entrepreneurship and hear first-hand the stories and experiences of social entrepreneurs. Eligible applicants can receive a grant from their national agency which covers all expenses including tuition, transportation, accommodation, and subsistence. To apply for the grant, applicants need to fill out an application for a Comenius (School Education) or Grundtvig Grant from their National Agency or the relevant Lifelong Learning Service in their own country. The course is addressed to school teachers, adult educators, trainers and anyone who is working to promote entrepreneurship to students, youth, adults, and people at disadvantaged situations. The course is organised by the SYNTHESIS Center for Research & Education Ltd, Cyprus and will be delivered by a European team of experienced trainers and academics. The course includes study visits and excursion.
